Some questions have arisen about products trying to copy Xango's success. Who can blame them I suppose. The unprecedented success has the whole industry in an uproar.

First of all let me say that Xango is the one that works, has proven results and has helped thousands of people over and over again month after month. We are the ones who created the category and we are the ones that everyone else would love to be like.

Xango has proven results over 30+ months with thousands of consumers whose lives have been changed and no one else can say that I don't care who they are. When folks ask you about this product or that product let them know that Xango is the one that helped you and tell them your story. Results has more impact than hype.

Here are some of the things to look out for when you look at some other companies porduct that is trying to copy or compare to Xango.

Whole Fruit Puree
Most if not all of the knock off products do not use the whole fruit puree. The only way to know what is really in a product is to read the label because they have to tell the truth on the label. When you see things on the label such as "10 Mg of Alpha Mangosteen" or "unique mangosteen peel extract" or "Mangosteen Fruit & Pericarp Extract" they are using extracts and not the whole fruit.

For instance, Costco has come out with a very low grade form of mangosteen juice from a manufacturer whose specialty is low cost imitations of quality nutritional beverages. If you read the label you will see that is contains an extract of the pericarp "10 mg of Alpha mangosteen". This is just ONE of the over 40 Xanthones contained in the pericarp and found in Xango. They basically extract this in the form of a dry powder and throw it into a juice blend. The product tastes very poor has a watery texture and we have had people experiment with it and find that it simply does not work. XANGO does not extract we use the Whole Fruit Puree and have formulated a fantastic patented product. (

The Mangosteen imitators make all sorts of claims about their inferior products. More Xanthones, Higher Orac etc. All trying to mislead potential customers. Magicians use this technique. It is called slight of hand. "Let me distract your eye with the exaggerated gestures of this hand, while I slowly and subtly remove your wallet with the other."

When reading the labels of the imitators products look at the first ingredient. The first ingredient will tell you the most abundant element. For example Xango’s first ingredient is listed as Mangosteen. Some imitation products list water as the number one ingredient, others list other fruit juices. Some imitation products use the word "Extract"

What is an "Extract"?
Extraction is a process in which alcohol ,water or toxic solvents are used to remove certain elements from a botanical. Some imitators have gone to the extreme of extracting a single Xanthone from the pericarp of the Mangosteen in great quantities in an effort to circumvent Xango’s patent and thus claiming "More Xanthones". Another sad marketing gimmick.

Using a single Xanthone or even a couple of different Xanthones in a product is like having a closet full of left shoes. Xango works because of its use of the whole fruit including all 40 plus Xanthones. The Xanthones in Mangosteen are synergistic. This means that the sum is greater than the parts and that it is the relationship between these parts that is the most important.

By extracting a single Xanthone or component, imitators inadvertently remove or overlook components that may contribute to the activity of the whole fruit. Consequently, extraction may result in an abundance of one element at the expense of other potentially important ones, while changing the natural balance of the Mangosteen.

The process of extraction itself is suspect. A little known fact, even in the wellness products industry, is that the solvents used in the extraction process denatures the therapeutic actions of an botanical’s aromatic constituents. This includes the essential oils, glycosides, etc. Vitamins, enzymes and other micro-nutrients are rendered inert (useless) when brought into contact with these solvents. These are scientifically verified facts!

The bottom line is that yes, there are imitation Mangosteen products on the market. Yes, there will be more to come. All comparing themselves to Xango. All using Xango as a benchmark.
Rejoice in knowing that Xango holds the patent to the only true Mangosteen beverage.
There are knock offs of Armani, Versaci, Gucci and Rolex, each being inferior to the original. Imitators copy excellence. It is the ultimate form of flattery.

Xango has chosen to use the whole fruit puree and not mess with the components designed by mother nature. Only 6 of the 40+ Xanthones in the mangosteen have been researched and some of these other Xanthones could be providing some of the extraordinary benefits we see everyday.

With $300 Million in sales projected for our third year we obviously made the right choice and we have the actual benefits that we have witnessed with our own eyes. This leaves others to compare and claim they are better when they have no results, track record, or actual sales volume to back up their claims.

They would have you believe that somehow their product is better than Xango but talk is cheap. We have the product that works and gets results and has helped thousands of people.

In addition, it is much easier to sell a growing opportunity than a shrinking one. By comparison, many of our "competitors" such as Natures Sunshine have had declining revenues in the United States for the last number of years. Xango is more than a product. Costco, of course has no compensation plan whatsoever and no way for happy customers to refer others and start to get their product for free.

Bottom line is Xango absolutely dominates the mangosteen market and always will whether we are able to successfully defend our patent or not. Competition can cause a market to grow by advertising a product and in this fashion can be good for business. Would you rather have 100% of a $50 Million market or 95% of a $Billion market?

In addition, Xango continues to grow at an incredible rate regardless of those who are trying to capture a small share of the market
